Patrick D. Frankis aUnited States Armylieutenant generalwho serves as the commanding general ofUnited States Army Centralsince July 7, 2022.[1]He most recently served as the Chief of Staff of theUnited States Central Commandand before that served as the Commanding General of theJoint Readiness Training Center.[2][3][4][5][6]

Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance fromSt. Bonaventure Universityin 1989.[4][7]He later received aMaster of Public Administrationdegree from theMaxwell Schoolat Syracuse University, a master's degree in national security and strategic studies from theNaval War Collegeand a Master of Strategic Studies degree from theUnited States Army War College.[4]
