Piseco(/pəˈsikoʊ/) is a small[citation needed]community in thetownofAriettainHamilton County,New York,United States.[1]The name "Piseco" is that of aNative Americanknown to an early surveyor. Located in the heart of theAdirondacks,the hamlet is home toPiseco LakeandPiseco Airport.TheNorthville–Placid Trailruns close to Piseco Lake and the airport. The village ofSpeculatorlies 10 miles (16 km) east of Piseco Lake.
