History
[edit]The shores south of Plouzané are in a strategic location for the defense of theGoulet de Breststrait and were fortified bySébastien Le Prestre de Vauban.Defensive strongholds includeFort de Bertheaume,Fort du Mengant,andFort du Dellec.
