Pompeo Mignucci,O.S.H.(1597–1654) was aRoman Catholicprelate who served asArchbishop (Personal Title) of Acquapendente(1650–1654) andArchbishop of Dubrovnik(1617–1650).[1][2]
Biography
[edit]Pompeo Mignucci was born inOffida,Italyin 1597 and ordained a priest in theOrder of Saint Jerome.[2] On 22 August 1617, he was appointed during the papacy ofPope Paul VasArchbishop of Dubrovnik.[1][2] On 29 September 1647, he wasconsecratedbishop byMarcantonio Franciotti,Cardinal-PriestofSanta Maria della Pace,withRanuccio Scotti Douglas,Bishop of Borgo San Donnino,andAlessandro Vittrici,Bishop of Alatri,serving asco-consecrators.[2] On 10 January 1650, he was appointed during the papacy ofPope Innocent XasArchbishop (Personal Title) of Acquapendente.[1][2] He served as Archbishop (Personal Title) ofAcquapendenteuntil his death in October 1654.[1][2]
While bishop, he was theprincipal co-consecratorofMarin Ibrišimović,Bishop of Beograd(1647).[2]
