TheShadi dialect(Chinese:Bờ cát lời nói;pinyin:Shādìhuà;Native name: Bờ cát lời nói ) is aWu Chinesedialect spoken inChongming,Haimen,andQidongdistricts as well as in some areas ofZhangjiagang.[1]It is considered to be a variety ofTaihu Wu,which is intelligible withShanghainese.
