Qushchi(Persian:قوشچی)[a]is a city in, and the capital of,Anzal DistrictofUrmia County,West Azerbaijanprovince,Iran.[4]

History

Qushchi served as the administrative center forAnzal-e Shomali Rural District[5]until the capital was transferred to the village ofQarah Baghin 1990.[6]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 2,832 in 828 households.[7]The following census in 2011 counted 2,526 people in 844 households.[8]The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 2,787 people in 935 households.[2]
