Rafiq Sabir(Kurdish:Refîq Sabîr;born in 1950) is a contemporaryKurdishpoet.

He was born inQaladzêinIraqi Kurdistan.In 1974, he receivedBachelor of Artsdegree fromBaghdad University.[1]He moved toSwedenin 1989. He writes in thesoranidialect. He belongs to the post-Abdulla Gorangeneration ofmodernistsinKurdishpoetry.
