Rafram II

Rafram (II)(Hebrew:רפרם,read asRafram) wasBabylonianrabbi, of the seventh generation ofamoraim.

He was a disciple ofRav Ashi[1]and a colleague ofRavina II.[2]He succeeded R. Geviha as head of the Academy ofPumbedita.He headed thePumbeditaacademy for ten years until his death on 443.[3]
