Raoping County(postal:Jaoping;simplified Chinese:Tha bình huyện;traditional Chinese:Tha bình huyện;pinyin:Ráopíng Xiàn) is acountyin easternGuangdong Province,borderingFu gian Provinceto the east, and facing theSouth China Seato the south. The city with the same name has 135,600 inhabitants (1990).
It is under the jurisdiction of theprefecture-level cityofChaozhou.Chaoshan Minand Hakka (Raoping dialect) are spoken in Raoping.
Raoping is famous for its seafood and fruits.
