Rav Papi[1][2](orRav Pappai;Hebrew:רב פפי) was anBabylonianrabbi, of the fifth generation ofamoraim.
Biography[edit]
Rav Papi was the son-in-law ofRabbi Isaac Nappaha,[3]while his main rabbi wasRava,and he repeats many teachings in Rava's name.[4][5]He was a colleague and an opponent ofRav Papaand RavHuna b. Joshua.His students includeRav AshiandRavina I.
