Robbie "Puppy" Poweris a retiredNational Huntjockey.The son of Irish show-jumper Con Power,[1]Robbie Power rode the 33-1 outsiderSilver Birchto victory in the 2007John Smith'sGrand National[2]atAintree Racecourseon Saturday 14 April 2007.[3]It was his second Grand National ride after his Grand National debut in 2005. In 2011 he had his firstCheltenham Festivalwinner in theRSA Chase.In 2017 he won theCheltenham Gold Cupand thePunchestown Gold CuponSizing John.He also won theIrish Grand Nationalon Our Duke.

He announced his retirement from horse racing in 2022.[4]
