Ron Dellow(13 July 1914 – 7 November 2013) was an Englishfootballerandcoach.As a player, he was a right-winger who began his professional career atBlackburn Rovers,and later played forMansfield Town,Manchester CityandTranmere Roversin the years beforeWorld War II.In August 1939, he joinedCarlisle United,but because of the war, he had to wait seven years before making his debut for the club in an officialleaguegame. He played one post-war season for Carlisle.

During theSecond World War,Dellow served in theRAF.In 1948, Dellow moved to the Netherlands. He coachedHVV Helmond,[2]Holland Sport,[3][4]FC Volendambetween 1964 and 1969, and guided the club to promotion to theEredivisiein 1967. He also coachedGVAV,[5]Heracles Almelo[6]andHelmond Sport[7]in the 1970s.

After retiring from football, Dellow spent his retirement years inAlmelo.He died on 7 November 2013, aged 99.[8]
