Rushiraj Pawar(born 15 October 1997) is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi television. Pawar earned recognition with his portrayals ofChandragupta MauryainChandragupta Maurya,KartikeyainDevon Ke Dev...Mahadev,Patta inBharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap,Ayan inRadhaKrishnandMeghnadainShrimad Ramayan.[2]

Pawar was born on 15 October 1997 inMumbai,Maharashtrain aMarathifamily.[1][3]

Career

Pawar made his acting debut with the Marathi film,Manyaa The Wonder Boy,playing the young Manya. He then made his television debut the same year, playing the youngChandragupta MauryainChandragupta Maurya.For his performance, he won theITA Award for Best Child Artist.[4]

From 2012 to 2014, Pawar playedKartikeya/MuruganinDevon Ke Dev...Mahadev.[5]Also in 2013, he played Suryakant "Surya" Shastri (younger version ofAkshay Kumar) inBoss.[6]

In 2015, Pawar first played Parijaat inMaharakshak: Devi.[7]That same year Pawar played, Patta Chundawat inBharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap.[8]

In 2016, he played Sona Nanda inChandra Nandini.Then, he played YoungMalhar Rao HolkarinPeshwa Bajirao,in 2017.[9]From 2017 to 2018, he playedShaniinChakradhari Ajay Krishna.[10]

From 2018 to 2020, Pawar played Ayan inRadhaKrishn.For his performance, he received theIndian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Negative Rolenomination.[11]In 2023, Pawar played Udmi Ram in an episode ofSwaraj.In the same year, he also playedBanasurainTulsidham Ke Laddu Gopal.[12]

Since February 2024, Pawar is seen portrayingMeghanadainShrimad Ramayan.[13]
