SBS Biz(formerlySBS CNBC) is a 24-hour businessnews channelinSouth Korea.
History
[edit]On August 13, 2009,SBStook over all stocks of a sports TV channel Xports, which were shared byCJ Media(70%) andIB Sports(30%). After a partnership agreement withCNBC(owned byNBCUniversal,a subsidiary ofComcast) which taken on October 22, 2009,[1]Xports was shut down and replaced bySBS CNBCon December 28, 2009. Most of its programme are being made inhigh definition.On January 1, 2021, SBS ended a partnership with CNBC and rebranded asSBS Biz.
