Saganaki cheese(Turkish:saganaki peyniri) is aGreekandTurkishcheesemade ofsheep's milk,cow milk,goat milk,or a combination, and used to preparesaganaki.Some saganaki cheese is similar to thebasket cheesemade inAegean Turkey.[1]

It is sometimes flavored withthyme,walnut,mastic,red pepper,cinnamon,black seed,black pepper,orolive oil;or smoked.[2][3]
