Saint-Trojan(French pronunciation:[sɛ̃tʁɔʒɑ̃]) is acommunein theGirondedepartmentinNouvelle-Aquitainein southwesternFrance.It is in theBlayewine region ofBordeaux,with theChâteau MercierandVignobles Briolaisvineyards located in the village.

TheUnited States Navyestablished anaval air stationon 14 July 1918 to operateseaplanesduringWorld War I.The base closed shortly after theFirst Armistice at Compiègne.[3]
