Sepehr Salimi(born 10 March 1981) is an Iranianblogger,freelancejournalist and advocate ofanimal welfareandenvironmentalism.He is best known as the originator of “Green Wave” blogging inIran.[1][2][3]

[edit]Salimi joinedIsfahanSociety of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal(Isf-SPCA) on 2001 and since 2003 he has been the director of the association. He continued his regional activities by joining the board of directors ofIsfahan Network of Environmental NGOs.He was also voluntary member ofIndia WWFandGreen Peaceduring the years of 2012 to 2015. He is among the founders of theEarth for AllNGO since 2014.[4][5][6][7][8][9]
Journalism Experience
[edit]Being in policy-making board and president of the environment section ofHealthy Life,an Iranian cultural magazine, is among his experience in journalism.[10]
Achievements
[edit]Salimi owns the oldest active environmentalweblogssince 2003. This blog contributes greatly in producing content in the areas of environmental issues and animal rights forPersianreaders. In recognition of his efforts in this field,PersianBlog(the first blog service provider in Persian language) awarded himthe best environmental bloggers’ prizein 2008. Being as the second journalist inYoung Journalists Conferencein 2007 is another achievement of him in thejournalismfield. He has also attained the first and third title inYoung Journalist Festivalin different areas of journalism.[11][12]
