Serbelodonis an extinct genus ofproboscidean.It hadtusksand atrunk.It lived inNorth Americaduring theMiocene Epoch,and it was closely related toAmebelodon.They had a diet that consisted of C3 plants which include fruits, tree cortex, herbs, and leaves.[1]

Serbelodon burnhamiwas named afterFrederick Russell Burnhamthe brother-in-law of the fossil's discoverer John C. Blick.[2]
