Śāṇavāsa(Śānakavāsin,Sambhūta ŚāṇavāsiorSanakavasa) was a disciple ofAnanda,and is considered the fourth Indian Patriarch inZen BuddhismafterShakyamuni,MahakashyapaandAnanda.[1]
