Silvia Ziche(Italian:[ˈsilvjadˈdziːke];born 5 July 1967) is an Italiancomic bookartist and writer, known for her work inDisney comicsfor the Italian comic digestTopolino.

Ziche was born inThiene.Ziche has also worked on the magazinesLinus,ComixandCuore.

She is known for her longstory arcspublished during successive issues ofTopolino,such as "Paperina di Rivondosa",[1]"Topokolossal",[2]"Il papero del mistero",[3]"Il Grande Splash"[4]and "Papere alla deriva".[5]

Awards and honours

Ziche won the 1997Lucca Comics' Panther Award for Best Emerging Author[6]and the 1999 Lucca Comics' Panther Award for Best Designer of Humorous Comics.[7]

She was given theU Giancu's Prizeat the 2000International Cartoonists Exhibition.
