Skeabost(Scottish Gaelic:Sgeitheabost)[1]is a township, at the head of the sea loch,Loch Snizort Beagin the southern end of theTrotternishpeninsula on the island ofSkyein theScottish Highlandsand is in theScottishcouncil area ofHighland.It was the birthplace ofMàiri Mhòr nan Òran.
The village ofCarbostlies directly east along theA850road.
