The souk is nearSouk El Berka,Souk Ech-Chaouachineas well asDar El Bey,[1]which is where the government center is located.
History
[edit]Initiated byHammuda ibn Ali,it is specialized in trading carpets as well as silk textiles andchachiawhich was the most important industry in the 19th century.
