Stan Woch(born July 8, 1959)[1]is anAmericancomics artistwho has worked oncomic stripsandcomic books.
Career[edit]
After attending thePratt InstituteandThe Kubert School,[2]Stan Woch's early career included work as an assistant toGray Morrowon theBarbara CartlandRomancesandBuck Rogerscomic strips.[3]He then worked in thecomic bookindustry as apencillerandinker.His first work forDC Comicswas published inNew Talent Showcase#1 (Jan. 1984).[4]
His credits as a penciller include the 1980sAirboyseries forEclipse Comicsas well asDC Comics'Swamp ThingandWorld's Finest Comics.[5]He was one of the contributors to theDC Challengelimited series[6]and he drew part of the "Fables & Reflections"collection ofNeil Gaiman'sThe Sandmanseries.[7][8]His credits as an inker include theAirboyseries,Batman: Shadow of the Bat,Black Orchid,Doom Patrol,and theRobincontinuing series.[9]Woch's last new work in the comics industry was published in 1999.[5][9]
