Story stationis a plannedVTA light railstation inSan Jose, California.It is proposed as anelevatedstation located onCapitol Expresswayat Story Road.
TheVTA light railOrange Lineis planned to be extended to theEastridge Transit Centerfrom its current terminus at theAlum Rock Transit Center,with Story station being the intermediate stop. This is part of theEastridge to BART Regional Connector Project.[1]The extension would offer rail connection to theMilpitas Transit Centerand theMountain View Transit Center,providing access toBay Area Rapid Transit (BART)andCaltrain.After utility relocation for the project is complete in September 2022, construction would commence in fall 2023 and revenue service is expected to begin in 2029.[2][3]
