Trevor Robert Bryce(/brs/;born 1940) is an AustralianHittitologistspecializing in ancient and classical Near-easternhistory.He is semi-retired and lives inBrisbane.

His book,The Kingdom of the Hittites,is popular amongEnglish-speaking readers since the study of theHittiteshas been dominated by German-language scholarship.[1]A new improved and updated edition of this popular book, featuring 90 additional pages, was published in 2005.[2]Bryce is a professor in the School of History,Philosophy,Religion,and Classics atThe University of Queensland.
