Tai Geng(Chinese:Quá canh) orDa Geng,personal nameZi Bian(Tử biện), was a king of theShang dynastyof ancient China.

In theRecords of the Grand Historianhe was listed bySima Qianas the sixth Shang king, succeeding his brotherWo Ding(Tiểu tân). He was enthroned with Bo (Bạc) as his capital. He ruled for 25 years (although theBamboo Annalsclaim 5 years), was given the posthumous name Tai Geng and was succeeded by his sonXiao Jia(Tiểu giáp).[1][2][3]

Oracle scriptinscriptions onbonesunearthed at Yinxu alternatively record that he was the fifth Shang king succeeding his uncleBu Bing(Bặc Bính), given the posthumous name Da Geng (Đại canh) and succeeded by his brother Xiao Jia.[2][3]
