Two carpets mixed up?

[edit]

This information differs from what I can find in Danish-language sources. Could one of the lesser carpets have been confused with the "main event"? I've contacted the author.ValentinianT/C18:38, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • This one is the one talked about in Encyclopedia Britannica... so they'd have to be wrong too. Very confusing though since they don't seem to have non-generic names. --W.marsh23:16, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two carpets are mixed up. The coronation carpet has only ornamental decorations. I'm preparing a new article on the Danish coronation carpet. P. Kristiansen, curator, The Danish Royal Collections. 10 April 2008
