Neutral POV

This article reads like a publicity flyer or "view book" for SPU. It's not neutral, nor does it contain information that couldn't be found at SPU's web site; indeed, much of the entry is cribbed from there.

Restructuring

I believe the SPU article can be significantly enhanced. I have already started to do so, with the infobox, pictures, and adding additional information. However, more can be done. Specifically theWikipedia:WikiProject_Universitieshas specfic (but tentative) guidelines for how Univeristy articles can be laid out, and what information to include. I went through the article thoroughly on May 30 and believe the copyedit and wikify can be removed. However, article still needs references. Violation

Fake Alumni

It seems to be a problem that random people are editing this page by putting fake people in the "Famous Alumni" section. If you are doing this, please stop. The purpose of Wikipedia is not for people to joke around by adding erroneous facts. -Caldwa

CFE

The article needs to be updated, CFE has now been completely scrapped in favor of a project called 37five with a very different focus. Images

I'd consider the images in the article to be of at best suspect provenance. The person who uploaded them has a history of uploading images with rights problems; they are very well photographed but low-res, often an indication of images grabbed off of another site. Someone with access to the campus should probably take new photos, and I would think these should be deleted as likely copvios unless someone can give a satisfactory explanation of why they have these unusual characteristics.

When someone does upload new images, I suggest putting them on Commons, so they can be used also on other language Wikipedias. There are currently apparently no images of SPU on Commons. -Jmabel|Talk 07:04, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Haven

Various people keep adding a version of this statement: "Part of Dr. Eaton's legacy is that he approved the group" Haven "for LGBTQ students"

The truth is Eaton tried to get the group kicked off campus and only reversed course after the huge outcry. This is an excellent blog on the topic:supportspuhaven.wordpress.And inthis article from the school paperabout Haven being recognized, there is no mention of Eaton. Finally, it only became a club in 2013 (Eaton left in 2012).
