Progress

[edit]

WellBD2412,I'd say we're getting in the neighborhood of having enough content fleshed out to move into mainspace. It's such a broad concept, that it seems unlikely we'll get a comprehensive article without sustained diverse contributions anyway.Serial Number 54129,you still looking to add more historical context?GMGtalk14:25, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@GMG,sure, if you think it's useful; how long have I got? Therer's a couple of things I'd like to finish first, although if you'd rather I started straight away...?——SerialNumber5412914:34, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No deadline really. I'm just starting to get a winding down feeling. It is really a very tricky area to find sources for. Like so many people found it too obvious a subject to write about it in a broad sense, and everyone feels the needs to be painfully and near irrelevantly specific.GMGtalk14:44, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I very much like the course of development this article has taken. We are definitely close to being ready to move it to mainspace. It doesn't need to be "done" for that purpose.bd2412T00:15, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

DYK?

[edit]

This would be a good subject for a purely educational DYK, rather than the usual painfully overly specific ones we usually have (Did you know that a dog once dug a hole next to a tree in a park in east London in 1655?) Not sure what they best hook to pull out of it would be though.GMGtalk12:57, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also incidentally, I intended to add coverage of Islam fromthis source, but I hadn't figured out how to make the special character from the Arabic words, because I'm half idiot.GMGtalk13:02, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, I did a DYK once on "DYK... that acup(pictured) is a small container fordrinks?"Go for it.RedSlash04:38, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

DYK "...that you don't know a stranger?"
would be rather...general.——SerialNumber5412906:41, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
