Springhill or Springfort Road?
[edit]I have old London reference material from the 1960s, including the 1964 Vernon City Directory, suggesting that a Springfort Road extended west from either Hyde Park Road or "Sarnia Road". (There is, since the 1960s, no all-weather roadway west of Hyde Park at the level of the Third Concession of London Township.) I was unaware of Sarnia Road following current day Wonderland northward then west along Gainesborough, so that's an interesting tidbit. There are, or were through the 1990s, curved diversions where this Sarnia Road turned north then west again, which complicated the use of the traditional cross intersections nearby. The one at Gainesborough has been eliminated, and the one at Sarnia Road is now limited to traffic headed northbound.GBC(talk)03:20, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
