Use this template to tag articles in the English Wikipedia project that are written in a foreign language, where the article does not already exist on aforeign Wikipedia project.If the article already exists on a foreign Wikipedia, then use{{Db-a2}}or{{Db-foreign}}instead. See speedy deletion criterionWP:A2.
This template will categorise tagged articles intoCategory:Wikipedia articles needing translation.All articles tagged should also have their entry manually added toWikipedia:Pages needing translation into English.
This template is for use onarticles.It should not be used fordrafts.

Usage

- language:(Optional) The name of the language that requires translation (e.g. "French" or "Mexican Spanish" ). If omitted, it is assumed that the language is unknown.
- article or section:(Optional) A description of which part of an article needs translating (e.g. "Hungarian names" ).
- If the literal text "section" is specified, the template should be placed at the top of the section requiring translation. If omitted, "article" is assumed if page is in the article namespace, and "page" is assumed in all other namespaces.
- listed=yes/no:(Optional) If set tolisted=yes(or "Yes", "YeS", "Y", "y", "1" ), will hide the message requiring you to add the page to the list of pages needing translation into English.
If thelanguageis recognised as being suitable for translation byGoogle Translate,a link will be added within the page transcluding the template.
