TheTemplate:Space exploration lists and timelineswas initially a good idea, trying to collect spaceflight-related articles by collecting their lists. However, it has been filled with less relevant topics, just notable for inclusion in that template for happening to being spaceflight-related lists (such asList of Mir spacewalks,notable indeed but I think there are many other articles deserving a look before going to that one). Therefore, I think we need a general spaceflight template. Templates to further related articles may be found in the subarticles of this one.Man on the Mars(talk)06:16, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This template is a good idea, but it probably makes sense to pro-actively address the question implied above, i.e. "What are the criteria for inclusion of a topic in this template?" Is it, for example, somehow connected to the "spaceflight-importance" value in the corresponding{{WPSpace}}template? (sdsds-talk)23:13, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
