Take a look into the citations 4,5,6,7 ofthis article. The Car festival here attracts crowd from two states. Another festival in Swamithope (Ayya Vaikunda Avataram) was celebrated with a holiday for three districts. Is there any other Temple festival which is celebrated with holiday(other than local holiday)? -117.97.139.0(talk)21:19, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Akilam is not a mainstream Hindu scripture, but a Ayyavazhi scripture. Even if a Vishu temple, Swamithope is not afamous'one. So removing it--Redtigerxyz(talk)04:58, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please note the reference provided above, and considering them Swamithope couldn't be argued as 'a place of no major impact' or not famous. -White Dot...!!!®17:05, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The title is "Famous Vishnu temples", so only major ones must be included. --Redtigerxyz(talk)04:00, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a question, but can't "famous" be seen as POVTheWorld00:44, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vishnu Temples may not include only Divya desams

[edit]

It would be better to include temples state wise in India and make a separate Template for Divyadesams. Vishnu Temples doesn't mean Divya desams alone. The current form seems to be misleading.agasthyathepirate(talk)09:00, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
