Tianchang(simplified Chinese:Thiên trường;traditional Chinese:Thiên trường;pinyin:Tiāncháng) is asub-prefecture-level cityin the east ofAnhuiprovince, and is the closest city in the province to the mouth of theYangtze River.It is bordered by theJiangsucounty-level divisions ofLuhe District(Nanjing) to the southwest,YizhengCity to the southeast,GaoyouCity to the east,Jinhu Countyto the northeast, andXuyi Countyto the northwest, as well as Anhui'sLai'an Countyto the west.
