Tinéu(Spanish:Tineo) is aconcejo(municipality) in thePrincipality of Asturias,Spain. It is situated on a small tributary of theNarcea River.It is the second-largest municipality in Asturias. It is bordered to the north byValdés,to the south byCangas del Narcea,to the west byVillayónandAllande,and to the east bySalas,MirandaandSomiedo.
Mining, agriculture and stock-rearing have been the principal industries since the early 20th century.[2]
