Tony Mulcahy(born 12 April 1959) is an Irish formerFine Gaelpolitician.[1]He was elected toSeanad Éireannon theLabour Panelin April 2011. He was a member ofClare County Counciland Shannon Town Council from 1999 to 2011, representing theShannonelectoral area. He was an unsuccessful candidate for theClareconstituency ofDáil Éireannat the2007and2011general elections.[2]

He was the Fine Gael Seanad Spokesperson on Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.[citation needed]

He lost his seat in the 2016 Seanad election.[citation needed]
