Tropicoperdixis agenusof threespeciesofbirdsin the pheasant family,Phasianidae.Although formerly classified in the now-defunct subfamilyPerdicinae,phylogenetic evidence supports them being a sister group to the tribePolyplectronini.[1][2][3]They are referred to asEast Asian forest partridges.
