TheUhuru Monument(also known asUhuru Torch Monument) is a landmarkmonumentand tourist attraction located inMchafukogeward ofIlala DistrictinDar es Salaam Region,Tanzania.[1]It is a whiteobeliskwith a replica of theUhuru Torchmounted at its top.[2]It is located at the Mnazi Mmoja Park in the city centre and is partly fenced.[3]
