TheUpper Rhenish Circle(German:Oberrheinischer Reichskreis) was anImperial Circleof theHoly Roman Empireestablished in 1500 on the territory of the formerDuchy of Upper Lorraineand large parts ofRhenish Franconiaincluding theSwabianAlsaceregion and theBurgundianduchy of Savoy.

Many of the circle's states west of theRhineriver were annexed byFranceunder KingLouis XIVduring the 17th century, sealed by the 1678/79Treaties of Nijmegen.
