Hi, I'm Paul! Mypronounsare he/him.

I joined Wikipedia in 2013 after having experience with an internalMediaWikisite for an organization I worked for (it's worth noting that I'm happy to discuss why your organization or company might use a wiki as their intranet site/for internal documentation).

I enjoystarting new articlesacross a variety of topics, uploading imagesand audio files (here and on EnglishWiktionary), doingWikiGnometasks (often reference-relatedfixes), and helping new editors. I really like submitting new/improved articles toDid you know....Let me know if you are interested in collaborating!

My editing preference is to use thesource editor(Wiki Markup). I know it well & sometimes use software likeSublime Text,vim,andNotepad++for more tedious tasks like finding & replacing text throughout a page's source.I occasionally usePythonand othercommand-line toolsfor my edits.

N.b.:I try and save a copy of references that I add or edit when they are not/cannot be archived in theWayback Machine,archive.is,Megalodon.jp (a.k.a. gyo.tc), and/or ghostarchive.org.If you are in search of such a reference that I've cited/updated/etc. and cannot find it in one of these fantastic archival resources,let me know.I am an amateurarchivistand recommend you check outArchive Teamif you are interested to learn more.
