Valentinellais a LateCretaceousgenus ofeutherianmammal fromFrance,Europe.[1]It was originally known from some damaged lower and upper jaws, and was cautiously referred to thelainodontinezhelestidmammals.[1]This identification was later questioned[2]and even considered anomen dubiumby some researchers,[3]and remains uncertain due to the scarcity and fragmentary nature of the fossils.

Valentinellawas the third known Late Cretaceous eutherian mammal genus from Europe, afterLabesandLainodon.[1]It was found at Vitrolles-La Plaine in the Aix-en-Provence Basin (Maastrichtianin age), in south-eastern France.
