Valjalais asmall borough(alevik) inSaare County,Estonia,on the island ofSaaremaa.It is the administrative centre ofSaaremaa Parish.As of the2011 census,the settlement's population was 410.[1]
TheValjala St. Martin's Churchlies in centre of Valjala and is the oldest stone church in Estonia. Ruins ofValjala Strongholdare about 700 meters south from Valjala.
