Velçanis a village and a former municipality in theKorçë County,southeasternAlbania.At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipalityPogradec.[1]The population at the 2011 census was 2,548.[2]The municipal unit consists of the villages Velçan, Buzahishtë, Shpellë, Bishnicë, Jollë, Losnik, Laktesh and Senishtë.[3]
