Vingtaine de Samarèsis one of the threevingtainesof the Parish ofSt. ClementinJersey,Channel Islands.[1]
It takes its name from thesalt marsh[2]that used to occupy much of the area of this low-lying coastal vingtaine.
Samarès used to be served by theJersey Eastern Railway.The local train station was opened on 7 August 1873, and closed on 21 June 1929. The station building still exists, and is now a private house.[3]
