WAtodayis an online newspaper, focusing its coverage onPerthandWestern Australia.It was established on 10 June 2008, and is owned byFairfax Digital(now Nine Publishing, under Nine Entertainment Co).[1]

The company employs ten journalists in Perth. It is based in the same building as radio station6PR,at 169Hay Street,East Perth.

It is in competition with the online services provided byThe West Australian[2]and PerthNow,[3][4]both owned bySeven West Media.
