William Kozlenko

William Kozlenkowas aplaywright,screenwriter,andeditorof multiple stage-play compilations and anthologies, as well as being a founding editor ofOne-Act Play Magazine,which published from 1937–1942,[1]and a co-founder of the One-Act Repertory Theater.[2]His best-known editorial compilations includeThe Disputed Works ofWilliam Shakespeareand the 1938 collectionThe Best Short Plays of theSocialTheater,which included contemporary works such asClifford Odets'Waiting for Lefty,Marc Blitzstein'sThe Cradle Will Rock,andW.H. Auden's andChristopher Isherwood'sThe Dog Beneath the Skin.[3]
