[edit]Dezenzo attendedMarlington High SchoolinAlliance, Ohio,and playedcollege baseballatOhio State University.[1][2]
Houston Astros
[edit]Dezenzo was drafted by theHouston Astrosin the 12th round, with the 373rd overall selection, of the2022 Major League Baseball draft.[3]Dezenzo made his professional debut with the Single–AFayetteville Woodpeckersand started 2023 with the High–AAsheville Tourists.
Dezenzo began the 2024 season with the Double–ACorpus Christi Hooks,where he hit.222 with two home runs and seven RBI over 22 games.[4]He was promoted to the Triple–ASugar Land Space Cowboys,and hit.391 with four home runs and 13 RBI across 11 contests. On August 6, 2024, Dezenzo was selected to the40-man rosterand promoted to the major leagues for the first time.[5]
