Zharen,alsoZaringorZharencun(Chinese:Trát nhân trấn) is a small town and township-level division ofAmdo Countyin theNagqu Prefectureof theTibet Autonomous Region,inChina.It is located at the side of theG109road, 41.9 kilometres (26.0 mi) south ofAmdo Townon the road fromNagchu Town,and approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of the southern tip ofCona Lake.[1]It has a population of 7875, living in 1479 households.[2]
History
[edit]Zharen township was established in 1962, and in 2002 it received Town status. It has jurisdiction over 12 village committees, with 219 natural villages.[2]

- Guojia Village ( quả thêm thôn )

- Reta Village ( nhiệt tháp thôn )
- Nimalong Village ( nima long thôn )
- Cagao Gongma Village ( sát cao công mã thôn )
- Ouchi Village ( Âu xích thôn )
Economy
[edit]The economy is mainly based on animal husbandry, with locals raising yak, sheep and goats. There are primary schools and health centres.[2]
