Zuopaotai East station(Chinese:Tả pháo đài đông trạm;pinyin:Zuǒpàotái Dōng;Jyutping:Zo2 Paau3 Toi4 Dung1) is the southern terminalmetro stationon Line 12 ofShenzhen Metro.It was opened on November 28, 2022.[1][2]
The station is named after the Left Fort which played a critical role in the defense of theQingtroops during theOpium Warsin the 19th century.[3]
