Woe unto them that callevilgood,and good evil; that putdarknessforlight,and light for darkness; that putbitterfor sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that arewisein their owneyes,andprudentin their ownsight!

IsaiahיְשַׁעְיָהוּYəšạʻyā́hû( "Yahwehissalvation") lived approximately 2700 years ago and was aprophetin the 8th-century BCKingdom of Judah.Isaiah warns the people of Israel to turn back toYahweh,he is sensitive to the commonpeople'sproblemsand is outspoken regarding their treatment.
